Community Street Meet - Buntingford Town : Tue 07 Oct 14:30 |
||
Dear Resident, The East Herts Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding a Community Engagement Event event in Buntingford. This will give the community a great opportunity to engage with local police officers. This is a local initiative by the East Herts Rural NPT (Neighbourhood Policing Team) and is part of a larger, county-wide campaign related to the Knife Angel. The Knife Angel, a 27-foot-tall sculpture made from over 100,000 confiscated knives, is a national monument against violence and aggression. Its tour through Hertfordshire during October 2025 is a significant event aimed at raising awareness about knife crime. While the main opening ceremony and display is in Welwyn Garden City, this campaign includes a series of local events throughout the county. The East Herts Rural NPT event is one of these, designed to bring the campaign's message directly to the local community.
What to Expect at the Event * Meet Your Local Officers: This is a chance to put a face to the police force that serves your area. * Discuss Key Issues: You'll have a platform to talk to officers directly about concerns such as gangs, crime, and anti-social behaviour (ASB). * Crime Prevention Advice: The police will be on hand to offer guidance and tips to help you, and your property stay safe.
If you would like to provide feedback now around knife crime, you can complete the feedback tool using the button below.
